What's Included
Showcase your ability by completing the official AFL/AFLW combine testing battery in an unbiased and regulated environment.
Your results are provided to talent representatives from Dandenong Stingrays for talent profiling within the region.
Access your verified raw testing data online, and analyse and track your athletic ability.

We’ve partnered with Rookie Me (the Official Testing Partner of the AFL Pathways), to conduct an official testing battery where you will receive unbiased, reliable and verified data so you can identify your areas of improvement as an athlete.

We will use these insights from Rookie Me to tailor the support you need, providing you with the right training to guide your development in the Iron Armour Academy.

What is the Athlete Performance Profiling Event?
Complete the official AFL/AFLW combine testing battery and showcase your athletic ability.
Start building a profile of your progress for talent personnel, to better understand your journey.
Gain individual data for insights to help you understand your strengths and areas to improve.
Increase visibility with the Tasmania Devils to advance your talent pathway in the region.
An assessment of a player's ability to change direction at high speeds. Agility is a powerful weapon when players are in tight situations or dodging an opponent.
An assessment of a player's ability to accelerate and reach top speed over a distance of 20m. Measuring the 5m, 10m and 20m splits, we gather insights on how well a player can explode and burst out of a pack.
An assessment of a player's ability to gain momentum and jump off one foot and reach the highest point. By measuring the running jumps, this test provides insight into how much impact a player can have in aerial contests.
Assessing each player's ability to jump straight up from a standing position to the highest point (counter movement jumps). Generating power from a stationary position can indicate a player's lower body strength, highly suitable for AFL/AFLW football.
An assessment of each player's ability to recover from repeated bouts of running. A player’s ability to recover is important in football as you are able to perform consistency across the game.

Rookie Me will share the performance data from this event with the Tasmania Devils program staff who will work closely with all community clubs throughout the upcoming season to monitor the form and development of all players. Opportunities to be involved in the Tasmania Devils program, whether you elect to participate in this event or not, will be ongoing through the upcoming season.
The Rookie Me / Tasmania Devils Athlete Performance Profiling event is a once-off payment of $44.99 incl. GST.
