Rookie Me is the official High Performance Partner of the BPBA — and in November last year, hosted a combine testing event for all Bellarine Storm athletes.

This September, Bellarine athletes will have the chance to re-test and track their progress (year-on-year) for an exclusive price of $39.99.

What You’ll Experience

MAX VERTICAL JUMP

Measures how high a player can jump from a running start.

3/4 Court Sprint

Measures how fast a player can sprint across three-quarters of a basketball court, focusing on acceleration.

Shuttle Agility

Measures an athlete’s speed and ability to react and change direction quickly over short distances, moving laterally in a timed shuttle drill.

Lane Agility

Assesses agility and movement around the key, testing the athlete’s ability to sprint, backpedal, and slide laterally in a game-relevant circuit.

Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery

An assessment of each player's ability to recover from repeated bouts of running. A player’s ability to recover is important in basketball as you are able to perform consistency across the game.

WINGSPAN

Measures the distance from fingertip to fingertip, with arms fully extended.

How much is the event?

The Bellarine Peninsula x Rookie Me Combine Testing Day is a once-off payment of $39.99 incl.GST.
The first event was free. Why do we need to pay for this event?

Alongside our High Performance partner, Rookie Me, all Bellarine athletes had the opportunity to test in November to receive their Testing results. Now, you have the opportunity to re-test and track your progress year-on-year for a special price of $39.99 (only available to Bellarine athletes.)
When do event registrations close?

Event registrations close Friday, 11 September at 5pm AEST.
When and how will I find out my allocated time slot?

Allocated time slots will be emailed by Saturday, 12 September, 2026 at 5pm AEST.
What do I need to wear/bring?
On the day of the event, be sure to bring:
- Training gear that is non restrictive.
- Quality footwear for best grip on flooring.
- Lunch and/or food requirements.
- Drink bottle.
Please bring personal medicines (asthma inhaler), if you require any assistance during the event, please notify a Rookie Me team member.
Where can I see my profile and my testing results?

Your verified testing data will be uploaded to your Rookie Me account following the event and will be accessible through either Rookie Me Hub or Rookie Me Connect.
To view your results, simply navigate to Past Events, select the event you attended, and click ‘View Testing Results’.
